Born in México City, one of the biggest cities in the World in population and size. Having lived and traveled to different countries at a young age exposed her to a different cultures and style of living. This exposure gave her a unique perspective in life. 

 

She studied Marketing in one of the best Universities in Latin America located in Mexico. Where she was open to a Business type of thinking. However, some courses intrigued her with Design and Art. Therefore she got a Diploma in Graphic Design.

 

After University she got together with a couple of friends to open their own firm, which focused in Strategic and Interactive Marketing. It was called Iderei (from the German, which means where the Idea and Identity is born). This period created the platform and the impulse to study Interior Design in Toronto, Ontario one of the biggest cities in Canada with high multicultural scenery.

 

Her thesis was conceived using both majors. The project consisted in creating a Design Centre located in Downtown Toronto. This space would allow artists, young people and recently graduates to mount their own business. Network with people from other backgrounds and majors to help them make their dreams come true. It would also have an open to the public space in order to give a stage for the members to display their work and even make a profit.

 

Her thesis advisor was an Architect called Samer Hout. He invited her to collaborate in Hout Architects for some of the projects. The most important one was for the contest in the development of the Guggenheim Museum in Helsinki. This project has been shown in different expositions around the world.

 

Her work in S.A.M., a short film, started as a Set Dressing. But because of her strong work ethics and her perseverance she end up becoming the Production Designer.

 

Now a day, she is focusing in creating a Design Studio that seeks the creation of spaces, artwork and furniture. As well, as helping entrepreneurs in the development of their company, products and services. Together with Heck Carreon, her brother, they will continue developing short films and even venture in feature films.​
